Menu: 

  • Arugula Salad with Fennel, Almonds and Goat Cheese Vinaigrette 
  • Gambas Con Ajillo (Sautéed Shrimp with Garlic and Saffron)
  • Sautéed Strip Steaks with Romesco Compound Butter 
  • Arroz con Leche (Spiced Rice Pudding)

  • Getting familiar with Spanish ingredients 
  • Preparing compound butter 
  • Balancing flavors 
  • Selecting beef and shellfish 
  • Determining meat and shellfish doneness 
  • Preparing vinaigrette 
  • Working with arborio rice 

In this hands-on class, students will be paired in groups of three to five and work together as a team to prepare the recipes.
