Virtual Wine Tasting: South America's Revolution of Wine

Chile and Argentina’s vineyards have been the envy of international winegrowers for centuries, but until recently, were shackled by political and social unrest.  Discuss the past, present and future of these dynamic winegrowing nations, taste 3 prominent styles and learn the triggers for South America’s dramatic revolution of wine with Advanced Sommelier, Mary Ross.

To enhance your experience, we recommend you’re tasting the same wines with Mary Ross during class. Order your three 750ml bottles of South American wine for curbside pickup from The Chopping Block Lincoln Square on Wednesday through Friday from 12-5pm or Saturday from 10am-4pm.

If you’re unable to pick up the wines from TCB, we recommend you procure bottles featuring the same region and grape. This includes:

• Chilean Sauvignon Blanc
• Chilean Carmenere
• Argentine Malbec

Our virtual tastings, via Zoom, are a fun opportunity to watch your sommelier in action. Our Zoom moderator will make sure your questions submitted through the chat option are answered during or  after class. The tasting packet will be provided upon registration.
