Have fun cooking an assortment of authentic, Spanish small plates in this hands-on class. 

Menu: 

  • Tortilla de Patatas (Spanish Omelet) with Aioli 
  • Almond-Stuffed Bacon-Wrapped Dates
  • Beef Picadillo Empanadas 
  • Steamed Mussels with Spanish Chorizo and Tomatoes

Skills covered in class:

  • Getting familiar with Spanish ingredients and cuisine
  • Selecting potatoes
  • Cooking eggs  
  • Making cold emulsions
  • Rolling out and shaping empanada dough
  • Preparing meat fillings
  • Balancing flavors
  • Selecting and steaming shellfish 

In this hands-on class, students will be paired in groups of three to five and work together as a team to prepare the recipes.
