Virtual Cooking Demo: Taste of Germany: Schnitzel and Braised Red Cabbage (Co-sponsored Virtual Class with the Christkindlmarket)

Bring your favorite Christkindlmarket dishes “Home for the Holidays” as the Chopping Block walks you through each step of traditional German recipes. For the first time ever, tickets to an authentic German cooking demo, led by Chef Hans, are available for you and the whole family to enjoy. Recipes will be sent out beforehand so you can tick everything off your shopping list before it’s go-time. Guten Appetit! 

The Christkindlmarket is joining forces with the Chopping Block this year to bring you a piece of traditional German culture to the comfort of your own home. Join us for virtual German cooking demonstrations via Zoom featuring German Chopping Block Chef, Hans Mooser, in November and December.

This virtual class is being co-sponsored with Christkindlmarket, and The Chopping Block. Your class registration supports CKM and TCB.

Our Virtual Cooking Demonstrations, via Zoom, are a fun opportunity to watch your chef in action. During class, your chef will teach you how to prepare the dishes while you observe and take notes. Our Zoom moderator will make sure your questions submitted through the chat option are answered during or after class. The recipe packet will be provided upon registration. Please note that some recipe steps may be prepared ahead due to the length of the class.

Since our stores remain closed for COVID-19, we unfortunately cannot accept gift cards as form of payment for virtual classes at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience! 

Please note that if less than 10 participants are signed up the class, it will be cancelled 48 hours in advance.
