Virtual Flavor Dynamics

Learn the secrets of successful flavor combinations, and learn how to make sense of your sense of taste! With stronger olfactory awareness, you can become a creative cook inspired by your own palate instead of following recipes to the letter.

In this interactive virtual demonstration class, we'll teach you the art of tweaking the five basic tastes - Salty, Sweet, Bitter, Sour and Umami - and how to use herbs, spices, oils, vinegars and aromatic ingredients to create a rich tapestry of cuisine limited only by your imagination. Together during class, we will taste our way through the basic tastes, and create an engaging dialogue on how to best apply them to your own cooking. Some bonus recipes will be included in your class packet!

Our Virtual Cooking Demonstrations, via Zoom, are a fun opportunity to watch your chef in action. During class, your chef will teach you how to prepare the dishes while you observe and take notes. Our Zoom moderator will make sure your questions submitted through the chat option are answered during or after class. The recipe packet will be provided upon registration. Please note that some recipe steps may be prepared ahead due to the length of the class.
