Hands-On All American Pies

We'll teach you the tricks to make incredibly delicious pies, plus tips on making the perfect crust in this hands-on class. You’re welcome to taste the pies in class, or pack them up and bring them home.

• Individual Summer Berry Pies with Pecan Streusel 
• Raspberry-Nectarine Hand Pies 
• Individual Lemon Meringue Pies 

Skills covered in class:

• Making and rolling out pie dough 
• Selecting fruit 
• Making fruit fillings 
• Preparing streusel topping 
• Using cornstarch and flour as thickeners 
• Making curd 
• Whipping egg whites

In this hands-on class, students will be paired in groups of three to five and work together as a team to prepare the recipes.
