Food in small packages is a worldwide phenomenon! Have fun preparing and devouring these comforting tidbits of all shapes, sizes and ethnicities in this hands-on class.

Menu: 

  • Pierogi with Potatoes, Roasted Garlic and Cheese
  • Shrimp and Ginger Wonton Soup 
  • Beef Picadillo (Olives, Capers and Raisins) Empanadas with Chimichurri 

Skills covered in class:

  • Making and rolling out pierogi dough
  • Making and rolling out empanada dough
  • Working with wonton wrappers
  • Selecting potatoes
  • Assembling and boiling pierogi
  • Preparing shrimp filling
  • Preparing brothy soup
  • Preparing ground beef filling
  • Working with spices

In this hands-on class, students will be paired in groups of three to five and work together as a team to prepare the recipes.
