Hands-On Noon Year's Eve: Italian Holiday

Enjoy the opportunity to celebrate New Year's Eve with the whole family! Have fun preparing and eating an Italian feast while ringing in the New Year.  This hands-on class is designed for children ages 6 and older to cook with their parents, families or guardians.

Menu:  

• Meatballs with Classic Marinara 
• Homemade Fettuccine with Alfredo Sauce
• Oven-Roasted Broccoli with Parmesan Cheese 
• Garlic Bread 
• Tiramisu 

Skills covered in class: 

• Selecting ground beef and pork 
• Preparing tomato and cream-based sauces 
• Working with and rolling out fresh pasta dough 
• Roasting green vegetables 
• Working with fresh herbs 
• Whipping cream 

In this hands-on class, students will be paired in groups of three to five and work together as a team to prepare the recipes.
