Why are we so captivated with the Mediterranean lifestyle? Is it the food and wine? The lifestyle? The health? Join sommelier, Christophe Bakunas, as he explores why the land and region of the Western Mediterranean creates the perfect assembly of geology, culture and history that makes some of the best wines on planet Earth. Enjoy tastings of five different wines from France, Italy and Spain while we talk about the ancient continent of Western Europe and how the last two hundred years have shaped some of the most famous wines of our generation. Mediterranean-influenced tasting noshes will be served during class.
