Hands-On Brazilian Steakhouse on the Grill

Join us on our outdoor patio as we celebrate the culinary traditions of Brazil, a melting pot of culinary influences and traditions. You’ll prepare an assortment of recipes that reflect the country’s diverse background in this hands-on class. Gluten-free menu! Grilling classes take place outdoors on our patio. In case of inclement weather, class will be moved indoors and taught as a hands-on cooking class with an emphasis on using indoor grill pans.  

Menu: 

• Brazilian Cheese Bread (Pão de Queijo)
• Grilled Picanha Steak with Chimichurri 
• Churrasco Style Calabresa Brazilian Sausage with Garlic Dipping Sauce 
• Cumin-Spiced Grilled Potato Wedges
• Grilled Corn and Black Bean Salad with Charred Onions and Tomato Vinaigrette

• How to set up your grill
• Selecting and grilling beef and sausages
• Determining beef doneness
• Making fresh herb sauces
• Balancing flavors
• Grilling vegetables
• Selecting and grilling potatoes
• Working with spices

In this hands-on class, students will be paired in groups of three to five and work together as a team to prepare the recipes.
