Hands-On Family Night: Haunted House Party

Bring the whole gang (costumes encourage!) for a hands-on Halloween family class tonight! Have fun working together to prepare a spooooooky assortment of ghoulish bites everyone can sink their teeth into. This hands-on class is designed for children ages 6 and older to cook with their parents, families or guardians.

Menu:

• Spider Cheese Balls with Creepy Carrot Witch Fingers
• Spooky Spaghetti and Zombie Eyeballs (Meatballs) in Marinara
• Mummified Roasted Garlic Bread
• Vampire Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting and Raspberry “Blood”

• Knife skills
• Balancing flavors
• Cooking dried pasta
• Selecting ground beef
• Making tomato sauce
• Making compound butter 
• Mixing cupcake batter
• Determining cupcake doneness
• Preparing frostings

In this hands-on class, students will be paired in groups of three to five and work together as a team to prepare the recipes.
