Our favorite celebrity vegan chef, Dustin Harder, is back in our kitchen for a special hands-on class featuring inclusive plant-based, allergen-friendly recipes this holiday season. Dustin, the Culinary Specialist with the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, will teach you how to prepare seasonal side dishes from Universal Meals, a recipe platform designed to create a healthier world with an emphasis on plant-based nutrition. If you have been tasked with bringing a side dish or dessert to a holiday party, or if you need some new and fresh ideas to spruce up your own festive gathering, join Dustin as he shows you how to make an arsenal of dishes that are sure to feed (and impress) every guest this holiday season. Learn just how easy it is to cook up tasty allergen-friendly recipes that create a seat for everyone at the table! Each student will receive a raffle ticket during class with the opportunity to win one of Dustin’s cookbooks!

- Cornbread with Soy-Free Maple Butter- Will be made in advance and enjoyed upon arrival
- Baked Macaroni and Cheese with Carrot-Cauliflower Cheese Sauce
- Smoky Brussels with Shiitake Bacon
- Garlicky and Sweet Potato Kale Mash
- Stovetop Wild Rice Stuffing with Dried Fruit, Pepitas and Sage
- Pumpkin-Cranberry Spice Crisp- Will be made in advance and enjoyed in class
Dustin Harder is a chef, host, and cookbook author. You can watch his original series, The Vegan Roadie, on YouTube, Apple TV, and Roku, and his podcast, 'Keep On Cookin', is available anywhere you listen to podcasts. He currently serves as the Culinary Specialist with The Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine. Before his time at PCRM he worked as a private chef in NYC and Atlanta and in menu development with various brands including By Chloe, Arden's Garden, and Kitchen Therapy. His first cookbook "The Simply Vegan Cookbook" is on Forbes’ list of "Best Vegan Cookbooks." Dustin has been featured in Eating Well, VegNews, Vegan Lifestyle Magazine, Chowhound, Vegetarian Times and Paste Magazine and appeared on Food Network’s Girl Scout Baking Championship.
