Virtual Cooking Demo: Sautéed Salmon with Kale-Walnut Pesto

Join us for a virtual cooking class as our Chopping Block chef teaches you how to prepare a healthy weeknight meal via a Zoom demonstration to help support Common Threads. 

Common Threads is holding a Back to School fundraising campaign through September 7. The Back to School campaign will empower Common Threads to continue to be a positive force, supporting parents and teachers with digital cooking and nutrition education lessons during in-school and after-school time. As many families and communities continue to face the challenges of COVID-19, encouraging health and wellness remains critical. A $30 donation will fund groceries for a family to make two meals at home as part of Common Threads’ virtual Family Cooking Classes. Our Virtual Cooking Demonstrations, via Zoom, are a fun opportunity to watch your chef in action. During class, your chef will teach you how to prepare the dishes while you observe and take notes. Our Zoom moderator will make sure your questions submitted through the chat option are answered during or after class. The recipe packet will be provided upon registration. Please note that some recipe steps may be prepared ahead due to the length of the class.
