Learn tasting techniques used by wine pro's to get the most enjoyment from every sip in this virtual class. This is a unique opportunity to explore each of wine's primary styles along with Advanced Sommelier Mary Ross, revealing the wine's face, nose, palate and finish as we go. We'll also practice wine vocabulary that you, your sommelier and wine merchant can understand and discuss wine and food pairing. While this seminar is a step up from the basics (see “How to Bluff Your Way through Wine”), no prerequisite is required.
During this virtual class, the wines will be blind taste tested, so please cover the wine labels with foil or place them in paper bags until the end of class. You can even have someone else purchase the bottles for a true blind tasting experience!
To enhance your experience, we recommend you’re tasting the same wines with Mary Ross during class. Reserve your wine package now, and indicate when you would like to pick it up at The Merchandise Mart prior to the class. We'll have it ready when you arrive, and you'll pay for the wines at pickup. This wine package is priced at $151.30, and that price includes tax.
