Hands-On Rendezvous Under the Stars on the Patio

Enjoy a romantic evening outdoors and let the starlight guide your hands while preparing a sumptuous feast in this hands-on class.  Grilling classes take place outdoors on our patio. In case of inclement weather, class will be moved indoors and taught as a hands-on cooking class with an emphasis on using indoor grill pans.

Menu:

• Flatbread with Pesto, Sun-Dried Tomatoes and Mozzarella 
• Prosciutto-Wrapped Scallops with Arugula-Fennel Salad and Balsamic Glaze 
• Grilled Beef Tenderloin Steaks with Herb Butter and Grilled Corn-Green Bean Succotash 
• Grilled Seasonal Fruit Sundaes 

Skills covered in class: 

• How to set up your grill
• Rolling out and grilling yeast dough
• Selecting and grilling shellfish and beef
• Determining shellfish and beef doneness
• Balancing flavors
• Preparing compound butter and fresh herb sauces 
• Grilling vegetables and fruit

In this hands-on class, students will be paired in groups of three to five and work together as a team to prepare the recipes.
