Sizzling, thick and juicy, Chicago steak is famed the world over. Join us as we take the classic steakhouse formula and prepare an iconic dinner in this hands-on class.
 
Menu: 

  • Grilled Beef Tenderloin Steaks with Parsley-Lemon Butter 
  • Roasted Fingerling Potatoes with Rosemary and Parmesan 
  • Creamed Spinach with Gruyere Cheese
  • Seasonal Fruit Crisp with Whipped Cream

  • Selecting and grilling steak 
  • Determining beef doneness 
  • Making compound butter
  • Selecting and roasting potatoes 
  • Preparing roux and béchamel
  • Working with dark leafy greens 
  • Making fruit fillings
  • Preparing streusel topping

In this hands-on class, students will be paired in groups of three to five and work together as a team to prepare the recipes.
