Kids' Cooking Class: Hands-On Dumplings

Food in small packages is a worldwide phenomenon! Kids, ages 7-11, are invited to join us for a hands-on class preparing and devouring delicious dumplings of all shapes, sizes and ethnicities.

Menu:

• Black Beans and Cheese Empanadas  
• Spanakopita (Spinach and Feta Phyllo Triangles)
• Steamed Shrimp Pot Stickers with Soy Dipping Sauce

Skills covered in class:

• Rolling out empanada dough
• Making bean fillings
• Working with phyllo dough 
• Working with gyoza wrappers
• Making meat fillings
• Steaming 

In this hands-on class, students will be paired in groups of three to five and work together as a team to prepare the recipes.
