Hands-On Date Night on the Patio: Fall Dinner Party

Enjoy a romantic evening outdoors as you prepare a sumptuous feast fit for an outdoor dinner party in this hands-on class. Grilling classes take place outdoors on our patio. In case of inclement weather, class will be moved indoors and taught as a hands-on cooking class with an emphasis on using indoor grill pans.

Menu:

• Kale Salad with Grill-Roasted Beets, Toasted Walnuts, Shaved Parmesan and Balsamic Vinaigrette 
• Bourbon-Glazed Cedar-Planked Salmon 
• Rosemary and Garlic Grill-Roasted Hasselback Sweet Potatoes
• Wood-Fired Pumpkin-Cinnamon Bread Pudding

• Setting up your grill
• Grilling root vegetables
• Making vinaigrette
• Balancing flavors
• Selecting fish
• Determining fish doneness
• Using a cedar plank
• Making and baking custard
• Baking on the grill

In this hands-on class, students will be paired in groups of three to five and work together as a team to prepare the recipes.
